Pharrell Williams: Happy (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 12"
What is there to say about this song? At this point we've all heard "Happy," watched as much of the 24 hour video (pretty interesting concept) as we could and even contemplated what the Cee Lo Green version sounds like. That's right, this was initially slated for Mr. Green, but his camp wanted him to focus on the album he was working on at the time. Whatever the case, "Happy" is a pretty undeniable track. It almost feels like it was focused grouped to death with all of the reference points it's hitting. However, Pharrell did an amazing job with this and I can see why he was welling up on Oprah. You feel like the guy is genuinely happy and he just wanted to express it through his music. I mean, it's saying something when the saltiest dude in the office is the only one to have picked this up. Maybe the rest of us will be kicking ourselves once this is sold out. Limited edition colored vinyl pressing.
